Face Plant

Today for our Bible story we read about Saul seeking the counsel of a witch. "King Saul was so frightened when he heard this [some very bad news including his and his son's impending death0 that he fell facedown on the ground."

Cooper laughed and said, "He did a face plant!"

For a while, Cooper had a funny habit of saying, "Look how tall I am! I go all the way from here [bending down to touch his toes], to here [running his hand up his body to the top of his head as he stands tall]!"

Fall Harvest

We had a fun time at the pumpkin patch and corn maze on October 13th with our new friend Heather, and her daughter, Jazzlyn. Unfortunately, they didn't make it into the pictures that day. I'll get them another time.

We enjoyed harvesting some really yummy apples from our apple tree also. We also continue to get strawberries!

Homeschool

We've been having a lot of fun with homeschooling this year. Here's some great pictures of the kids doing some cutting and pasting work. Caleb was so funny trying to figure out the scissors. When he wanted the scissors to open, he'd open his mouth really wide.

Paper Towels

I bought a double roll of paper towels on Saturday. I know they came in the house, I remember seeing them in the pile of groceries to be put away, on the kitchen floor. But they disappeared and I resorted to small piles of napkins as their replacement. I found them four days later under Cooper's bed.

His name is Caleb. He is two years old and loves to hide things. Our shoes are often in the dirty clothes hamper, the one with the lid. He likes to put our kitchen trash can in the bathroom. He is quite smart and quite mischievious and that is playing into a lot of things.
